Presently light steel frame construction system is recognized all over the world as one of the most advanced construction systems due to the speedy construction rates and cost-effectiveness.

But at the same time light steel frame construction technology has some downsides that should at all times be taken into account. First of all these disadvantages are related to poor fire performance, structural weakening, low acoustic proofing and other things explaining why this way of construction has not achieved top standing position in the construction market.

The fundamental element of ECOCON Construction System is application of non-autoclave lightweight cellular concrete combined with light gauge steel structures. The light steel profiles which are used initially for permanent formwork fixing play reinforcing role being inside the lightweight cellular concrete structures.

Alongside with the merits of light steel frame construction system (not time consuming, low costs, nice thermo insulation properties), ECOCON Construction System acquires such advantages as high durability, sound structural strength, remarkable fire resistance and acoustic proofing qualities.

Besides all these points the market survey which was conducted to explore the Customers reasoning not to go for light steel frame housing, showed the main reason was “blank wall” effect, and most customers are not content with it. ECOCON Nanocrete application for complete wall arrangement provides the property sellers with new opportunities and ability to tap into new market segments

ECOCON Construction System cost-efficiency is related to replacement of expensive cement-fibre, calcium-silicate or wooden boards, used for siding with cheap ECOCON Nanocrete block-panels, which play role of siding panels and permanent formwork simultaneously

ECOCON Group has completed a lot of work in calculations and civil engineering applying the invented construction model.

The results of experimental construction projects met our calculations and expectations completely and got a positive response with experts and potential customers.

ECOCON Construction System can be used for mass construction for designing and erecting private-, civil- and industrial- purpose buildings with height up to three levels (floors). Moreover ECOCON Construction System can be used in high-rise buildings construction alongside with dense concrete structure for arranging in-side separation walls, non-bearing exterior walls, and other similar purposes.

The core element of ECOCON Construction System is creating a bearing frame, walls, slabs and other structure elements with light steel frame (0.8 – 2 mm thickness galvanized profiles) with its complete placement inside the monolithic non-autoclave lightweight cellular concrete made from Nanocrete dry mix.

As it is in any light steel frame project, the steel frame is a bearing element calculated for bearing all kinds of weight load happening during the building shelf-life. Using lightweight cellular concrete structure alongside with steel frame (when steel frame is completely inside the structure) improves the strength and rigidity of the building, increases steel frame durability, adds many advantages.

Nanocrete block-panels are fixed to the assembled light steel frame with screws from both sides of the frame. The dry density of block-panels can be in the range of 300 – 600 kg/m3. Block-panels can have width or another dry density depending on general building requirements (thermo insulation, acoustic proofing, etc.). Vertical and horizontal lines of block-panels connection are grouted with special adhesive for making connection hermetic and deleting heat (cold) bridges. The gap between inside and outside block-panels is filled with monolithic non-autoclave lightweight cellular concrete that has dry density in the range of 200 – 400 kg/m3 (or another dry density) after rising and curing.
